A Different Kind of Home

Straying away from the stereotype is a risk that can be rewarding if executed in the right way. I am not saying that one must always design from scratch, nor that everything must be purely an original - that is close to impossible. However, going out of one's way to think outside the box in a world based on imitation is already something. I use a technique of starting from the inner core and working our way outwards rather than vice versa, as can be seen by the projects inside this chapter.
